Microsoft .NET VB .NET For Existing Developers

 Course Summary:

The goal of this intensive course is to acquaint students with the knowledge and skills needed to develop Microsoft .NET based applications using Visual Basic .NET and Visual Studio .NET.

Windows applications, web applications (ASP .NET), class libraries, and web services are all project types that will be covered in the course.


 Intended Audience:

This course is intended for existing developers who have practical experience with a programming language and are proficient with that language. Those who will develop web applications, Windows applications, web services or middle-tier components will benefit from this course.


 Prerequisites:

To ensure an effective learning environment, it is imperative that students meet minimum course prerequisites.

This course requires:

  • More than 1 year of practical experience using an OO programming language (ie. C, C++, Java) or
  • More than 1 year of practical experience using an object-based programming language (ie. VB 6).
