Introduction to MS Visual InterDev (2 Day Course)

 Course Summary:

Visual InterDev is Microsoft’s premiere tool for the development of high-end web solutions. The “Integrated Design Environment” (IDE) allows for programming client as well as server-side web scripts in both JavaScript and VBScript. Additionally, Visual InterDev has powerful features for maintaining and administering intranet and Internet webs. 

This course familiarizes students with the Visual InterDev IDE and basics of developing Web Solutions as well as teaches the fundamentals of Active Server Pages (ASP), Dynamic HTML (DTHML) and Database Connectivity.


 Intended Audience:

This class is intended for high-end Web Site Developers, Architects and Programmers who wish to use Visual InterDev to develop data-driven, web-based solutions. This course is designed to run on a Windows NT 4.0 or 2000 platform.


 Prerequisites:

To ensure an effective learning environment, it is imperative that students meet minimum course prerequisites. This course requires:

  • Complete familiarity with at least 90% of the topics covered in the outlines for: Introduction to Visual Basic and Advanced HTML

  • Basic experience working with databases.
