Course Summary: |

The goal of this course is to provide developers, who are new to object-oriented programming, with the fundamental knowledge and skills needed to develop Web Applications using Microsoft .NET-based technology. Training and labs will employ the use of Microsoft’s .NET architecture with C# as the programming language. Emphasis is placed on building applications that follow industry best-practices and development standards. Students will leave with a solid understanding of what .NET is all about, knowledge of how to navigate the Visual Studio .NET Integrated Design Environment (IDE), knowledge of Object Oriented Programming concepts and implementation of those concepts and a solid grasp of the C# programming language. |

Intended Audience: |

This course is targeted to those with little or no object-oriented programming experience. Those developers who are currently using COBOL or other such non-Windows development languages as well as those with little or no programming experience at all are the target audience for this class. |
