Visual InterDev is Microsoft’s premiere tool for the development of high-end web solutions. The “Integrated Design Environment” (IDE) allows for programming client as well as server-side web scripts in both JavaScript and VBScript. Additionally, Visual InterDev has powerful features for maintaining and administering intranet and Internet webs.

The Enterprise features of InterDev are used to implement business rules and three-tier client-server applications with a web front-ends and Active Server Pages running on the web server. It is part of the Visual Studio suite of programs and interfaces seamlessly with Visual Basic.

This course covers Active Data Objects (ADO) in web pages, multi-person development of a web solution in a business enterprise, and introduces the security issues of web-based development. You will create a complete Shopping Cart application using the Three-Tier client/server model.

This class is intended for high-end Web Site Developers, Architects and Programmers who wish to use Visual InterDev to develop data-driven, web-based solutions. This course is designed to run on a Windows NT 4.0 or 2000 platform.
