Course Summary: |
|
|
This course continues where Introduction to HTML (with XHTML & CSS) leaves off. Students will continue to learn elements of good web page/site design. In this class, students will focus heavily on web page layout to design effective interfaces for end-users to interact with. Heavy focus is placed on XHTML table design as well as frames and forms. Cascading Style Sheets are further explored to develop richer page content and interactivity. The class also begins to expose students to what lies beyond HTML, XHTML & Cascading Style Sheets: client-side programming using (JavaScript) and Dynamic HTML (DHTML). It is recommended that students take “Introduction to JavaScript” after this one to gain further knowledge of client-side scripting inside Web pages. |
