Advanced HTML (2 Day Course)

 Course Summary:

This course continues where Introduction to HTML leaves off. Students will continue to learn elements of good web page/site design. In this class, students will focus heavily on web page layout to design effective interfaces for end-users to interact with. Heavy focus is placed on HTML table design as well as frames and forms. The class also begins to expose students to what lies beyond HTML such as Cascading Style Sheets, client-side programming and DHTML.

It is recommended that students take the two-day “Introduction to JavaScript” course after this one to gain further knowledge of client-side scripting inside Web pages.


 Intended Audience:

This class is intended for web site developers who wish to further their HTML knowledge and build more complex web sites. Those wishing to learn other web technologies such as JavaScript, ASP, XML, etc. will find this class useful as a foundation to build upon.


 Prerequisites:

To ensure an effective learning environment, it is imperative that students meet minimum course prerequisites.

This course requires:

  • Complete familiarity with at least 90% of the topics covered in the outline for: " Introduction to HTML".
