Advanced Active Server Pages (3 Day Course)

 Course Summary:

This course is designed to teach students to use Active Server Pages technology to perform advanced web site functions.

Managing ‘state’ is a key topic in which the use of session/application variables as well as ‘cookies’ and database connectivity are covered.

In addition, students will become familiar with the fundamentals of web server management/administration via Microsoft’s Internet Information Server (IIS) with regard to the operation of Active Server Pages.


 Intended Audience:

This class is intended for web programmers who are already proficient with Microsoft’s Visual Basic Scripting (VBScript) language and already have experience with basic functioning Active Server Pages.  This course is for those wishing to create dynamic, data-driven web pages by leveraging the power of Active Server Pages technology.
